Founding sellers wanted
Every bin has a grail.
GrailBin is the record marketplace where every grade is guaranteed and sellers keep more of every sale. We're opening to our first 50 founding sellers now.

Why sell on GrailBin
Keep more of every sale.
No commission. You pay 3.3% + $0.45 on the item price and never a fee on shipping. On a $30 record, that's $1.44.
List from your phone.
A few quick photos right in your phone's browser. Sealed? Just the front and back. Coming from Discogs? Import your collection and just add photos. No app to download, and a photo check flags a wrong pressing or color before you publish.
Shipping is handled.
A prepaid label shows up the moment a record sells, with tracking and returns built in.
Accurate sellers are protected.
Your packing photo and our evidence review stop bad-faith claims, and transit damage or buyer's remorse never counts against your accuracy score.
The math
| On a $30 record with $4.50 shipping | What the seller pays |
|---|---|
| GrailBin | $1.44 |
| Discogs | About $4.80 |
| eBay | About $5.09 |
Estimates as of October 2026. Discogs charges 9% of the item plus shipping, plus PayPal's processing of about 3.49% + $0.49; eBay charges 13.6% of the order total for vinyl plus $0.40 per order. GrailBin buyers pay a separate Guarantee fee, included in the prices they see, that funds the guarantee.
How it works
- 1
Snap a few photos.
The cover front and back, then the record itself, all in one pass on your phone. Sealed? Front and back and you're done. Started on a laptop? Scan the QR code and finish on your phone.
- 2
Confirm the pressing.
Your back-cover photo scans the barcode; no barcode, search by artist, title, or catalog number. Edition details like color variant and gatefold fill in for you.
- 3
Grade and price.
Set the media and sleeve grade on the Goldmine scale and name your price. The grade is always yours: before you publish, our photo check flags a photo in the wrong place, or a pressing or color that doesn't match.
- 4
Ship and get paid.
Print the prepaid label, snap a packing photo, and drop it off. You're paid once the record is delivered and a short inspection window passes.

FAQ
- What does it cost to sell?
- 3.3% + $0.45 on the item price, taken from your payout. No listing fees, no commission, and no fee on shipping. Founding sellers pay nothing for their first 3 months on orders of $15 or more before shipping. Smaller orders, lots and crates pay the standard fee.
- What do buyers pay?
- A Guarantee fee of 6% of the item price (3% on any part above $100) plus $0.70 per order, already included in the prices they see. It funds the guarantee.
- When do I get paid?
- Once the record is delivered and the buyer's 5-day inspection window closes with no claim.
- What if a record is damaged in shipping?
- If your packing photo meets our packing standard, transit damage is on us, not you. We refund the buyer, handle the carrier claim, and you still get paid.
- What if a buyer says it's not as described?
- We review your listing photos, your packing photo, and the buyer's evidence. If the claim is upheld, the record comes back to you and you cover the refund, including return shipping. Accurate grading keeps that rare.
- What can I sell?
- Vinyl at launch. CDs and cassettes come later.
- Do I need an app?
- No. GrailBin works in your phone's browser, camera included.
- How many photos do I need?
- Fewer than you might think. Sealed records need two: front and back. Opened records need four: front and back of the cover, plus each side of the record. If only the runout tells your pressing apart from another, we'll ask what yours says. You won't need to photograph it. Your photos are also your proof if a buyer disputes a grade.
- Already selling on Discogs?
- Export your Discogs collection and upload the file. You pick which records to sell, and they arrive matched to the right pressing. All that's left is adding photos. Discogs marketplace inventory files are next.
- When does GrailBin open?
- We're onboarding founding sellers now and open to buyers once the bins are full.
